AMP Australia is a respected corporation that serves a very large number of customers and employees in Australia and New Zealand.

AMP offers three options for life insurance, and customers can choose to buy just one independently or all of them with a bulk discount.

The three available life insurance options are Death, Total and Permanent Disablement (TPD), and Trauma cover. Death refers to an option that covers the insured person if he or she dies or is diagnosed with terminal illness that leaves the insured person to live less than twelve months. The Total and Permanent Disability option is for people who are totally and permanently disabled.

Trauma cover is only available to people who have one of the diseases that AMP considers as a “trauma.” The list can be found on the AMP website.

The Death Insurance option can cover you up to $10,000 in reimbursement of the costs for the funeral and allows the insured to choose one or more beneficiary if he or she dies.
